Card rails don’t take crypto
Ordinary card tills don’t give crypto holders a way to pay at a normal counter.
Customers can pay with USDC, USDT, ETH, XRP, SOL, and other supported coins and networks when available. You still receive official USDC on Base.
If another coin isn’t available, nothing is sent. Use USDC on Base instead.

Customer pays with
Customers pick a coin and network at checkout. If a route is available, they pay that way. If not, we send them to USDC on Base — nothing is wasted on a dead path. You always receive USDC on Base.
Networks depend on the coin — Base first, then Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, XRP Ledger, Solana, or Tron when that option is offered. Static QR and direct USDC stay unchanged.
Product film
A short look at a shop sale. USDC on Base always works. Other coins may work if available. Pause, scrub, or go fullscreen.

Built for anyone who takes payment in person — whatever you sell
The problem
From small tickets to big ones — you need something as ordinary as a card reader, without custody, new hardware, or crypto maths.
Ordinary card tills don’t give crypto holders a way to pay at a normal counter.
Sending wallet addresses by chat invites mistakes — and irreversible losses.
You don’t want new compliance burdens or someone else holding your funds.
Cashiers should enter a normal amount in their currency — not convert rates or paste wallet addresses by hand.
Why Setlo
Built for real counters — not a crypto workshop behind the till.
Enter the bill in your shop’s currency — pounds, euros, dollars, and more. Staff never do crypto maths.
USDC on Base always works. They can also try USDT or ETH on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Optimism if available.
Paid appears once exact official USDC on Base reaches the designated address and confirms.

Checkout
Use a printed QR for tables, or a keypad till on a tablet for a busy counter. USDC on Base always works. ETH, USDT, XRP, SOL, and Tron USDT may work when offered — if a route isn’t available, we steer them to Base USDC so nothing is wasted.

Confirmed payment
Clear answers
Setlo keeps the customer payment choice flexible while keeping the shop settlement simple: official USDC on Base.
The current Setlo platform fee is 1.5% of each completed sale. There is currently no monthly subscription fee. Any quoted network, route, or operational charge is shown before the customer approves payment.
The shop settles in official USDC on Base. Setlo does not convert USDC into pounds or hold a shop's fiat balance; the shop controls its payout wallet and can use its chosen exchange or off-ramp when it wants GBP.
Direct Base payments commonly confirm within seconds to a few minutes. Other supported coin and network routes commonly take a few minutes or longer, depending on confirmations, liquidity, route availability, and network conditions. The till shows Paid only after the required Base USDC confirms.
The checkout is the source of truth and only shows routes available for that payment. Options may include USDC, USDT, ETH and other enabled EVM assets, plus XRP, SOL, and USDT on Tron. Regardless of the source coin or network, the shop settlement is USDC on Base.
Setlo is non-custodial checkout software: it does not ask for a merchant's seed phrase or private key, and the merchant controls the payout wallet. Payment status is based on the required on-chain settlement, not a screenshot or an unconfirmed transfer.
